Soviet Oil Agency Goes Private: The Soviet Union’s huge oil exporting agency, Soyuznefteexport, has declared itself a private company owned by its employees. It will be known as the Russian Independent Oil Co., said Igor Amayansky, head of its marketing department. “The company is not planning to sell its shares to any outsiders--that is, non-members of the company, including foreigners,” Amayansky said. “The main benefit of this action is that it will give us more flexibility to solve our problems.”
