Too Much Review

Share

I wish to “thank” Kenneth Turan, in his review of David Mamet’s “Homicide” (“A Cop Closes In on Himself in Homicide,” Calendar, Oct. 16), for revealing that in the “chilling, wordless” opening scene, the bad guy ultimately gets away. So much for “chilling.”

I have read too many reviews and commentaries by Times film critics that reveal too much about a movie for those of us who have not yet seen the film.

Please stop!
