CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : GARDEN GROVE : Rev. Schuller Says He Is ‘100%’ Healthy

Two months after undergoing brain surgery, the Rev. Robert H. Schuller said he is “100%” healthy and plans to resume his full schedule of pastoral duties. “My doctor didn’t tell me to slow down one bit, so I don’t intend to,” Schuller said. “. . . Here I am, folks, and the recuperation has been 100%.” Schuller, 65, host of the television show “Hour of Power,” underwent surgery for blood clots on Sept. 2 and Sept. 10 after suffering a head injury in Belgium. At the time, he was traveling in Europe for a private audience with the Pope and a visit to the Soviet Union. Schuller said he will return to the pulpit Sunday for the first time since June 15.
