Japan’s Contempt for America

Share

I was highly amused by your article. It went to great lengths to offer political, psychological and anthropological reasons why seemingly recalcitrant Japanese intellectuals are saying that America is “plagued by crime, poverty and drugs,” its families are disintegrating and its children are illiterate.” What your writer didn’t consider should have been obvious to any reader: Maybe the Japanese are right.
