The Day the Magic Stopped : Magic’s Wife Is Pregnant

Late Thursday night, Laker officials announced that Magic Johnson’s wife, Cookie, is seven weeks pregnant. According to Lon Rosen, Johnson’s business manager, doctors have said that, because Cookie has tested negative for HIV, the baby would not be affected. The couple was married Sept. 14.
