School Board Member Gains Support
How can Jeff Horton deny his alleged gay agenda when he advocates the establishment of a Gay and Lesbian Education Commission?
As a public school teacher, I am distressed to have homosexual issues added to our schools’ responsibilities. Public education was never meant to be the panacea for every social problem, especially in this case since a vast number of citizens consider homosexuality to be primarily a moral/religious issue.
Jeff Horton et al. need to realize there is not a consensus, let alone a mandate, for our public schools to in any way endorse homosexuality.
