If the Shoe Fits . . . : “If you don’t own as many shoes as Imelda does, you’re doing something wrong.” That’s the ad slogan that Mark Jubelirer, a Sharon, Pa., shoe store spokesman, dreamed up when he heard that former Philippines first lady Imelda Marcos will auction her 1,200 pairs of shoes. The Philippines consulate in Manhattan has fielded more than a dozen calls from people eager to get in on the bidding. If his shop wins, says Jubelirer, “we could do a great TV ad.”

Match This: A box of eight crayons in the shades of people’s skin tones will soon be in classrooms so students can color more realistically. Teachers are “tired of seeing Martin Luther King done in pure black with glowing red lips,” says a spokesman for a school-supply company. Crayola’s “Skin Tones of the World” box includes mahogany, peach, tan, sepia, burnt sienna and apricot--and black and white.

Southern Comfort: Actress and exercise guru Jane Fonda says she’s moving from Santa Monica to Atlanta to be with “unofficial” husband Ted Turner. “Southern hospitality is alive and well,” says Fonda. “It’s a city of success . . . the Braves, the Olympics, CNN. Boy, it’s just humming along.” Turner, who owns CNN, says he is “unofficially married” to Fonda, and she agrees: “We feel very much committed to each other.”

Laugh Lines: The yuppie family in the comic strip Sally Forth is getting a new look, but it won’t be new duds or hairstyles. Beginning today, writer-artist Greg Howard will let partner Craig MacIntosh put a different spin on the strip’s overall look. Minneapolis-based Howard says the switch will free him for more writing: He plans to sally forth to a TV studio with this great idea for an animated show.
