HUNTINGTON BEACH : Feedback Sought on Revamping of Park
The city is seeking comments from residents on a planned revamping of Huntington Central Park.
The proposed land-use designation plan would pave the way for a variety of new amenities tentatively planned for the sprawling park.
Among the new facilities being considered are a gymnastics center, a gymnasium and a lighted sports complex that would include baseball diamonds and soccer fields.
Comment forms, along with large-scale maps of the proposed Central Park plan, are available at City Hall.
Additionally, residents may view a videotape explaining details of the plan at Huntington Central Library, located in the park.
The city will accept comments on the plan through Nov. 29.
