Titan Women Lose Basketball Exhibition to Latvia

Cal State Fullerton led by a point at halftime but was outscored by 20 in the second half in an 86-67 loss to the Latvian national team in a women’s exhibition basketball game Monday at Fullerton.

Anete Muizniece scored 24 points, including three three-pointers, for Latvia, which had five players foul out.

Senior forward Claudette Jackson scored 21 points and had 14 rebounds, both team-highs for Fullerton. Jackson was three of nine from the field, but made 15 of 21 free-throw attempts.

Stacey Oughton scored 11 points and Kisa Hughes added 10 for Fullerton.
