Vehicle Sales Fall: Early-November sales of North American-made cars and light trucks fell 14.3% compared to a year earlier, industry figures showed. General Motors said sales of North American-made vehicles fell 12.3% during the Nov. 1-10 period this year compared to the year before. Ford said early-November car and truck sales dropped 18.5%. Chrysler Corp.’s sales during the period were estimated to have dropped 9.8%. Chrysler only reports monthly sales. The Associated Press estimate is based on the company’s monthly market share over the previous 12 months. Collectively, Big Three sales during the period fell 14.2%, and sales of North American-made Japanese cars and trucks fell 15.7%.
