SILVER LAKE : CLINIC RECEIVES 2 GRANTS

The Hollywood Sunset Community Clinic recently received two grants.
The Weingart Foundation awarded a one-time grant of $50,000 to the clinic’s renovation and expansion project, which will ass 2,239 square feet to the clinic’s existing 5,364 square feet.
A $15,000 grant came from Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Co., for the clinic’s Cara a Cara Latino AIDS Project.
Hollywood Sunset Community clinic provides free medical, counseling and legal services to the poor and homeless. There were more than 26,000 patient visits last year.
