Water Prices Unjustified
After receiving a water allocation from the Moorpark office of the Ventura County Waterworks, I took the time to examine and compare like periods to see where my water expenses were going.
From 6/11/90 to 8/13/90 I used 113 units at a cost of $118.01.
From 6/11/91 to 8/12/91 I used 88 units at a cost of $190.28.
Due to very careful rationing, I reduced my water usage by 22%, and my water bill increased almost 70%. There is something drastically wrong when a system can be so unbalanced and inequitable.
I urge those responsible to correct such a variance in pricing.
