USAir to Buy Continental Assets: USAir Group Inc. said it agreed to buy 108 slots at New York’s LaGuardia, six at Washington National and leases at the new LaGuardia East End Terminal from Continental Airlines for $61 million. Houston-based Continental, the nation’s fifth-largest airline, has been struggling to cut its debts and emerge from bankruptcy law protection.
