Photos of African-American Experience: Time Warner Inc. announced a new project Monday, “Songs of My People,” a multimedia program on the experience of African Americans. The project includes a photography exhibit opening Feb. 15 at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington as well as an upcoming HBO special. A book of the photographs in the exhibit, taken by African-American photojournalists, comes out in February. The exhibit comes to L.A.’s California African American Museum on May 30.
