AMERICAN HUNK: When Mark Ortega of Fullerton watched “American Gladiators” on TV a few years ago, he thought he was good enough for it. . . . This year he (and 10,000 others) tried out, and he became one of 48 contestants. He’s beaten back all opponents so far and is in the final match, which will run on Channel 11 today. Ortega, 27, a chiropractic student, won’t say who won, but advises: “It’s pretty exciting. You should watch.”
