Schimmel to Head KPMG Audit Dept.
Philip R. Schimmel has been appointed partner in charge of the audit department for the Costa Mesa office of KPMG Peat Marwick. He succeeds William M. Foley, who will lead the firm’s Southern California international practice. Schimmel joined the Orange County office in 1975 and was made a partner in 1985.
