Eagle Rock : Mini-Mall Plan Rejected

Share

A Los Angeles zoning official has rejected a plan for a mini-mall that was opposed by members of the Eagle Rock Assn., a development watch-dog group.

Assistant Zoning Administrator Horace E. Tramel denied developer Olav Solli conditional-use permits to build a two-story office and retail complex on the northeast corner of Eagle Rock Boulevard and Avenue 45.

Tramel ruled that there were already too many mini-malls near the proposed project and that the commercial complex would disturb the adjacent residential neighborhood on Paulhan Avenue.

A representative for Solli said the developer intends to appeal the decision to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
