Bar Fined for Firing Pregnant Waitress

TORONTO —
A Canadian strip bar that fired a pregnant waitress has been ordered to pay her $13,000 ($11,500 U.S.) in damages and lost wages.
The Ontario Human Rights Commission ruled that Bill Walsh, manager of the Cannonball Restaurant in Brampton, Ontario, discriminated against Sherry Middleton in July, 1989.
