South Korean Auto Makers Set Mark: For the first time, South Korean auto makers have sold more than 1 million cars on the domestic market in one year. Domestic sales for 1991 hit 1,003,254 autos at the end of November and are expected to reach 1.1 million by year-end, the Yonhap news agency reported. Exports are expected to top 400,000 for combined sales of 1.5 million autos this year. That would make South Korea the world’s 10th-largest auto producer.
