Robbins Resigns From Senate

In response to “Robbins Quits Senate, Admits to Corruption,” Nov. 20:
State Sen. Alan Robbins (D-Van Nuys) was finally caught using his office for personal gain! How genteel and antiseptic it sounds. The fact is he committed a little bit of murder against the body politic. And he will get away with it. The tens of millions in real estate deals he’s done show that (influence-peddling) crime pays. He will cop a plea, receive a slap on the wrist and we will have another small hole in the social fabric that increasingly does not bind us together.
