COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Christ College Irvine Women Win

Nancy Geisler scored 23 points and Christ College Irvine defeated UC Santa Cruz, 80-53, in a nonconference women’s basketball game Monday at Santa Cruz.

Gitte Mejer scored 16 points and had 12 rebounds for Christ College Irvine. Leslie Graves scored 17 points for Santa Cruz.

Claremont 78, Pacific Christian 38--Claremont opened a 53-19 lead at halftime in an easy victory at home. Chris Green scored 17 points.
