3-Month-Old Baby Dies in Blaze; Nanny Is Charged

MT. PLEASANT, N.Y. —
A Swiss nanny allegedly killed a baby in her care by setting fire to her employers’ home while they were at work, police said. Olivia Riner, 20, of Wettingen, Switzerland, was arraigned Tuesday on murder and arson charges in the death of 3-month-old Kristi Fischer. Authorities had not determined a motive for the alleged incident.
