West Covina : Presiding Judge Elected
Fellow jurists have elected Judge Abraham A. Khan presiding judge for 1992 of Citrus Municipal Court, effective Jan. 1.
Khan, 41, was first appointed to the Citrus bench on Aug. 21, 1988, by Gov. George Deukmejian. Before that, he worked as a Los Angeles County public defender for three years and a deputy district attorney for two years before taking a job as a Los Angeles deputy city attorney, prosecuting slumlord cases.
He is a graduate of Southwestern University law school and lives in Walnut with his wife, Rosalinda, and their son, Abraham II.
