Mideast Peace Talks May Resume Tuesday

WASHINGTON —
Arab negotiators decided Saturday to go to the State Department on Tuesday to resume Middle East peace talks with Israel. In Jerusalem, Israeli officials said their negotiators expect to be there too.
The Israelis will be arriving in Washington about a week after the Arab delegates, who showed up for anticipated meetings last Wednesday, the date set by the Bush Administration for talks to begin.
Israel objected to that date to dramatize its opposition to holding peace talks outside the Middle East.
