Tulsa will offer Coach David Rader a new five-year contract with a hefty raise in the wake of the school’s first top-25 ranking in nine years.

Athletic Director Rick Dickson said the new contract is a reward for Rader’s success this season and an incentive for Rader to remain at the university. Tulsa, which finished regular-season play No. 23, will play San Diego State on Dec. 30 in the Freedom Bowl at Anaheim.
