Fullerton College’s Studio Theatre has been renamed the Bronwyn Dodson Theatre to honor a former student who was active in the school’s theater art department and who died in September in a traffic accident, college officials announced Wednesday. Dodson worked in the department as an actress, makeup artist, electrician, carpenter, scene painter, stage manager, director and production manager. A renaming ceremony will be held at the theater at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Information: (714) 871-8101.
Pacific Symphony musicians will receive an 8.2% wage increase over the next three years, according to a joint statement issued Wednesday by the orchestra and the musicians’ union. Minimum pay will rise 2% in the 1991-92 season from the current $95 for each performance and $70 for each rehearsal. Those rates will increase by 3% in each of the succeeding two seasons. The new contract, which replaces one that expired Aug. 31, also includes a 1.35% increase over three years in health and welfare benefits.
