BUSH BY A MILE? Eager Democratic candidates insist that George Bush is vulnerable in 1992 because of the economy. Not so, says James Doti, Chapman University president and economist. In his first political indicator poll, out today, Doti predicts that Bush will win 60% of the U.S. vote, based on weight given to critical issues. . . . “It will be Bush by a landslide,” Doti says. The economy, he says, will be more than offset by Bush’s Desert Storm success and his incumbency.
