Music Center Program Comes to Area Schools
The Music Center Education Division, one of the largest arts education programs in the country, will be in several San Gabriel Valley schools in 1992 with a variety of programs.
Schools and programs are:
Arcadia--Camino Grove Elementary School, Jan. 10 and May 22; Highland Oaks Elementary School, Jan. 22, Feb. 12, May 5, May 8 and May 19; Hugo Reid Elementary School, Jan. 16 and March 27.
Monrovia--Wild Rose Elementary School, March 19 and May 7; Santa Fe Middle School, Feb. 20, April 23 and May 8.
San Marino--Huntington Middle School, Feb. 21 and April 3.
South Pasadena--South Pasadena High School, Jan. 10; Monterey Hills Elementary School, Feb. 18, May 24 and May 26.
Temple City--Longden Elementary School, Jan. 17.
San Gabriel--Coolidge Elementary School, Jan. 9, Feb. 11 and May 20; Wilson Elementary School, March 3 and June 9.
The resident companies are the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum and Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles Music Center Opera and Los Angeles Master Chorale.
