2 Medical Aid Workers Are Killed in Somalia

GENEVA —
Two medical aid workers, a Belgian and a Somali, were shot and killed Sunday in the strife-torn Somali capital of Mogadishu, the International Committee of the Red Cross said.
A communique from the international body’s Geneva headquarters said that the unidentified Belgian was working for the Red Cross and the Somali for his country’s Red Crescent Society.
