Kentucky basketball Coach Rick Pitino is reportedly interested in having ineligible Syracuse center Conrad McRae play for the Wildcats.
The Syracuse Herald-Journal reported that if McRae unsuccessfully exhausts all of his appeals at Syracuse, he probably would visit the Lexington campus, possibly on Dec. 28 when Kentucky plays state rival Louisville.
Pitino confirmed that Kentucky is pursuing McRae, but said that NCAA rules prohibited him from commenting further.
