OXNARD : Boy, 7, Hit by Car, Critically Injured
A 7-year-old Oxnard boy was in critical condition Sunday night in St. John’s Regional Medical Center after being struck by a car in the 3000 block of Fournier Street, police said.
Cesar Lopez, who was in an intensive-care unit with head injuries, ran into the street about 9:45 p.m. Saturday in front of a car driven by Rizalito Barrios, 18, of Oxnard.
Barrios, who was driving 25 m.p.h., was unable to avoid the boy, police said.
