Matthews Acquires More Studio Rental Equipment

Matthews Studio Equipment Group, a Burbank company that sells and rents lighting gear and other equipment to the film and television industry, said it has acquired lighting and grip equipment for $200,000 from Atlantic Cinema Equipment Inc., a Statesville, N.C. firm. Matthews said the equipment will be used by its rental subsidiary, Hollywood Rental Co. Inc. of Sun Valley, at Hollywood Rental’s southeast facility in Charlotte, N.C.
