Two teen-agers have been arrested in connection with the gang-related shooting death of a 15-year-old boy and the wounding of another youth in Granada Hills earlier this month, a Los Angeles Police Department official said Saturday.

Agapito Devera Jr., 19, and a 16-year-old boy who was not identified because of his age were arrested Friday by homicide detectives and members of the Valley Bureau Gang Task Force, Officer Greg Cannon said.

The pair are believed responsible for the shootings of Henry Chang, 15, and Brian Tsurusuto, 16, who were shot just before midnight Dec. 14 in the 10000 block of Oak Park Avenue, Cannon said.

Chang was pronounced dead soon after the attack. Tsurusuto was treated at a local hospital and released, he said.

Devera was booked on suspicion of murder and was being held without bail. The 16-year-old was being held at Sylmar Juvenile Hall on a murder allegation, Cannon said.
