Why are federal charges not being brought against Nosair? Certainly Rabbi Kahane’s civil rights were violated, In addition, there is the charge of attempted murder of a postal police officer. Past Supreme Court decisions are clear. There is not a problem of double jeopardy. If the blood of a Jewish leader is so cheap, what value can be placed on our own lives?
It is no secret that Rabbi Kahane was hated because of his unrelenting struggle against complacency in the face of Jewish pain. Must his murder and the subsequent acquiescence to this gross injustice prove him right, albeit post-mortem?
