The Ventura County Crime Stoppers Program is offering a reward for information leading to the identification of the man who robbed a Domino’s Pizza shop at gunpoint in Port Hueneme.
At 10:45 p.m. Dec. 9, a man walked into Domino’s Pizza on the 400 block of West Channel Islands Boulevard and asked the clerk for change, Port Hueneme Police Officer Ken Dobbe said.
As the clerk checked for change, the robber ran behind the counter, waved a handgun and demanded money.
After the gunman took an undetermined amount of cash, he forced three employees into the office and demanded that they open the safe, Dobbe said.
The employees were unable to open the safe, so the gunman ordered them into a restroom and told them to wait for five minutes, Dobbe said.
The suspect was described as 25 to 30 years old, six feet tall, about 180 pounds, with short black hair.
He was wearing a gray and white buttoned shirt, gray jeans and dirty white tennis shoes.
The handgun was described as a .22- to .25-caliber, blue steel, semiautomatic.
Police have no suspects, Dobbe said.
Anyone with information about the robbery can call Crime Stoppers at 986-TALK.
Callers may remain anonymous.
If the information leads to an arrest or a filed complaint, the caller will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
