The USA hockey team scored five third-period goals, including two in a 22-second span, on the way to a 6-1 exhibition victory at Orlando, Fla., over the Soviet Selects.

Tim Sweeney of Boston College led the way for the Americans with two goals and two assists. The USA team scored four of its six goals on the power-play in the penalty-marred contest.

In a bizarre incident, a Soviet player was ejected after skating around the ice and trying to attack an official. Two other Russian players were also ejected in separate incidents.
