Bush’s Trade Trip to Asia

Share

President Bush stated he remains baffled by the nation’s pervasive sense of gloom and cannot sort out our degree of pessimism concerning the economic state of our country, yet he says at the end of the month the Japanese will have “a much clearer feel for the state of the U.S. economy. . . .”

I am baffled as to how Bush is going to explain the state of our economy to Japan when he doesn’t understand it himself.
