Factory Closures

GM announced the upcoming closure of 21 factories and loss of 74,000 jobs. Concurrent with this deeper, double-dip disaster we’re about to get an additional 40,000 immigrants so they can have their part of the American Dream too! Perhaps it’s timely that Bush just signed a multibillion-dollar bill for improved roads and bridges. After all, the new soon-to-be-on-the-streets 114,000 will need the bridges. They need somewhere to sleep.

Ah, victory must be sweet to the millions who purchased Japanese cars and trucks, knowing they “voted with their pocketbooks” and drove home the nails in the coffins of the American auto manufacturers. It is hoped you bought one large enough to live in . . .
