Green Line Contract
Thank you for the informative article on Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky’s call for a grand jury examination of the decision to proceed with the experimental, unproven, driverless train for the Green Line (Jan. 3). Like most people, I think the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission’s timing (and judgment) on this matter is terrible.
Southern California needs jobs, and a good transportation system constructed without unnecessary delay to get us to those jobs. I, too, urge the LACTC to reconsider plans for an automated train at this time.
