From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A drifter from Walla Walla, Wash., pleaded guilty this week to 91 counts of child molestation in what authorities say is a landmark case. Richard E. Howard, 46, faces up to 150 years in prison when he is sentenced Feb. 26. Howard, who also used the name Bob Barret Holder, was arrested in a Chula Vista park last April when he tried to lure a girl into his car. The girl complained to her mother, who called police. He allegedly molested 15 young girls in San Diego County.
