State of the Art?
Here’s a report on “state of the art” construction work in Orange County: Caltrans announced the closing of the northbound Santa Ana Freeway connector to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway for a staggering two-year period to reconstruct the connector!
The entire 1,500-plus-mile Alaska Highway was constructed from scratch in a period of eight months in 1942.
That’s 50 years of progress? Oh boy!
