Disney to Buy 50% of CBS/MTM Studios: TVS Entertainment said it reached a conditional agreement to sell its 50% interest in CBS/MTM studios in Studio City to Walt Disney Co. for $27 million cash. TVS said the deal is expected to be completed in the next 135 days, pending a due diligence review and approval by CBS Inc., which owns the other 50% of the studios. The acquisition will give Disney additional sound stages near its Burbank lot.
