DVI to Form New Subsidiaries: Irvine-based DVI Health Services Corp. is forming two new subsidiaries as a result of acquisitions, the company announced Friday. The new Vascular Centers of America is being formed from DVI’s acquisition of Northwest Georgia Neurovascular Associates. The DVI-TMC Imaging subsidiary is being formed because of a planned purchase of TMC Radiology in Tempe, Ariz. Vascular Centers, based in Rome, Ga., will provide cardiovascular diagnosis using ultrasound equipment. DVI-TMC will provide the magnetic resonance imaging equipment needed to perform diagnostic tests on patients at five facilities in Arizona. Terms of the acquisitions were not announced. DVI will own 60% of the new entities, with the remaining 40% belonging to shareholders of the existing companies. “These acquisitions and investments offer outstanding opportunities for DVI,” said DVI President David L. Higgins, “and are further evidence of our commitment toward expanding our direct operating presence in the outpatient medical services market.”
