Assessing Concerns for Iraq’s Children
Dr. Jack Kent, the Huntington Beach physician bringing insulin and other medical supplies to Iraq, is doing very courageous and noble work (“Doctor Warns of Dying Iraqi Children,” Jan. 9). It seems that the death of 65,000 Iraqi children is an acceptable byproduct of the U.S. bombing in that country last year. When our peace is won by the suffering and death of kids, we have certainly devolved into a pathetic culture.
