Japan-Bashing

Share

Having once been bailed out by U.S. taxpayers, Chrysler’s Lee Iacocca now wants further protection by “retaliation” against Japan (Jan. 11).

In recent years Iacocca has drained scores of millions in personal income from Chrysler. And instead of investing in new designs that could outsell Japanese cars, he dumped millions of Chrysler’s cash into non-automotive enterprises.

Clearly, this guy’s version of free enterprise is “free for me but not for thee.”
