MANILA —
Philippine police have fielded more than 100 special agents to track down the kidnapers of U.S. businessman Michael Barnes and find their hide-out, police said Monday.
The main suspects are Communist guerrillas and right-wing army dissidents, Gerardo Flores, deputy police director general, told reporters.
Barnes, 41, from Long Beach, Calif., was abducted by three gunmen Friday as he drove to his office in Manila’s Makati financial district.
