College Fee Hikes
Students in the University of California and State University systems who are protesting tuition increases by demonstrating and circulating petitions are wasting their time. There is an effective answer--stop being a consumer. Drop out for a quarter or semester, shut the systems down and watch Gov. Pete Wilson and the Legislature demand a more gradual increase in student fees!
