Standing By Her Song: Country singer Tammy Wynette, whose “Stand By Your Man” was a big hit, wants an apology from would-be first lady Hillary Clinton over her comment on “60 Minutes” that “I’m not sitting here like some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette.” Hillary Clinton was explaining her support of her husband, Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton, who was defending himself against charges of infidelity. Hillary Clinton rolled her eyes and slapped her forehead when told of Wynette’s reaction Tuesday. “I didn’t mean to hurt Tammy Wynette as a person,” she said. “I happen to be a country-Western fan. If she feels like I’ve hurt her feelings, I’m sorry.”
