Updating the Constitution
In response to the letters regarding the economic and moral recessions (Jan. 22), I would like to lend my support to the idea of a constitutional convention in the ‘90s. Thomas Jefferson felt the need for one every generation and now with grave national issues such as abortion, gun control, racism, etc., it seems a perfect time for a frank and open discussion of the document that our society is based upon.
