Denim Sneakers: Lots of people who buy Vans sneakers wear them with blue jeans.

So the Orange-based footwear maker decided, why not make them out of blue jeans?

The fashion-conscious Vans is introducing a new line of shoes in four different shades of faded denim. They will retail for about $40.

The company will also be offering new prints in the spring. There will be a stars-and-stripes version in red-white-and-blue canvas and a retro-1960s flower print, among others.

The basic Vans shoe design--a classic canvas-and-rubber deck shoe--has not changed since its introduction in 1966. But the company constantly keeps updating the look by changing colors and adding accents.
